STARTER
Cold-smoked cod, tuna tartare, horseradish cream, Jerusalem artichoke & roe

INTERMEDIATE COURSE
Fried, poached organic egg,  acidified egg foam, kale, burnt leek & wild garlic

MAIN COURSE
Grilled breast of "Hopballe" chicken, stuffed morel mushroom, mushroom gastrique & chicken fumet

CHEESE
4 types of cheese with plum chutney & malt crispbread

DESSERT
Marzipan/almond-baked apple cake with yogurt/vanilla ice cream & chocolate cream

5 courses: 4 courses including a delicious cheese                                                                  serving before dessert.                                     Price: DKK 650

If fish is desired instead of meat for the main course, this can be included in the menu for an additional charge of DKK 75.

​ *A welfare chicken from Hopballe Mølle has 4-5 times more space than a conventional chicken.

The space allows the chickens to move around much more, which results in muscles, darker meat, more flavor, and a firmer texture.

Every evening, the lights are turned off, and the chickens get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, which improves their well-being. After 65-74 days, the Hopballe chickens are gently hand-caught and transported from the chicken houses to the slaughterhouse.*
