TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE CONCEPT
In April 2019, we found areas here at Le Port where we could easily be more sustainable both in terms of reducing the use of plastic, as well as reducing CO2.
Among other things, we have introduced paper straws, dropped the plastic stirrer in drinks, and purchased sustainable disposable packaging.
We have also dropped sales of imported spring water. By no longer having to carry boxes with bottles to and from Le Port, we save the environment a fair amount of Co2.
Filtered locally cold water with - and without bubbles
We have invested in a system that cools, filters and can drain water both with and without soda.
Bottles
We have bought bottles from Retap, which has produced the bottles in borosilicate glass, which is lighter and stronger than ordinary glass and the lids are free of PVC, BPA and phthalates.
In addition to the above, we have costs for the general handling of serving water.
That's why we charge the following for nice cold water:
DKK 30, - for 0.75 liters and DKK 15,- for 0.25 liters
